The NA brought the lightweight Roadster back into modern life. Archaic preserves its low-and-wide proportions, rounded rear housing and twin-circle rhythm, then reinterprets them through a cleaner Full-LED signature.
The smoked lens sharpens the rear without overwhelming the NA’s compact, friendly character. The goal is not to make the original look like a different car—it is to let the icon feel alive after dark.

The animation creates a modern scanning effect while retaining the recognizable shape and character of the original MX-5 NA rear lights.
The product includes LED turn signals but sequential turn signals are not available. Animation behavior may also vary depending on the vehicle’s wiring, market specification and installation configuration.
E-Mark certification indicates compliance with applicable automotive lighting requirements in regions where the relevant approval is recognized.
However, regulations for aftermarket tail lights vary by country, state and region. Customers are responsible for confirming local road-use, vehicle inspection and lighting requirements before installation or use on public roads.

Correct installation of the housings, seals and electrical connectors is essential for maintaining water resistance. Do not use a high-pressure washer directly against the lamp seals or connectors.
The assemblies use factory-style mounting points and connectors, and an installation manual is included. No cutting or rewiring is required in most standard vehicle configurations.
Professional installation is recommended if the vehicle has modified wiring, damaged connectors or previous aftermarket lighting work. After installation, test every lighting function and confirm that the housings and seals are correctly seated before driving.
The package includes the required wiring harness for a standard installation. Integrated resistors are designed to help reduce or prevent LED hyperflash when replacing the original halogen tail lights.
Additional electrical work may be necessary if the vehicle has modified wiring, aftermarket relays, poor grounding, damaged factory connectors or market-specific wiring differences.
