A vintage-inspired three-dimensional lighting layout gives the WRX VB a distinctive rear signature. The RGB running-light section can display selectable colors and supported effects through the LightRunning mobile app.

The RGB system is separate from the essential brake, reverse and turn-signal circuits. Non-standard colors and animated effects should only be used where legally permitted.

These RGB tail lights fit selected 2022–present Subaru WRX VB sedans, including compatible Base, Premium, Limited, GT and tS trims. Trim availability varies by model year and market. Confirm the vehicle year, regional specification, original connections and OEM references before ordering.
The assemblies are designed to use compatible factory mounting locations and OEM-style connectors. Major body modification is not normally required. Installation of the RGB controller, switch module and app connection is also required. Modified vehicles may need additional electrical work.
Functions include RGB running lights, brake lights, reverse lights, sequential turn signals and a dynamic startup animation. RGB colors and supported display effects are controlled through the LightRunning mobile app.
The LightRunning app controls the RGB running-light colors and supported display modes. An included switch module can pause the RGB display mode when required. Brake, reverse and turn-signal functions operate separately and should always use their intended road-lighting colors.
RGB colors and non-standard lighting effects may be restricted to shows, exhibitions or off-road use. Use only legally permitted colors and lighting functions on public roads. The current product information does specify DOT certification, customers must confirm local requirements before installation.
The assemblies feature an IP67-rated sealed construction designed to resist dust, rain and normal road moisture. Avoid submersion and close-range pressure washing around the housing vents, seals, RGB controller and electrical connections.
Experienced owners may complete the installation, but professional installation is recommended. The RGB controller and switch module must be correctly connected, and all standard lighting functions should be tested before final assembly.
No separate tail light bulbs are required because the LED light sources are integrated. RGB control accessories and a switch module are supplied for the supported installation. Vehicles with modified factory wiring or connectors may require additional parts or adjustments.
